This issue of Healthcare reform being used to pay for abortions is a big concern for many anti-choice people. Because they do not want their tax money paying for something that they do not agree with. But have they forgotten that tax money already pays for abortions? Has everyone forgotten that Medicaid exists? When I, as a pregnant teen, had no money for an abortion, they gave me temporary Medicaid which paid for all of my needs. Tax money already pays for abortions. All of these arguments are moot points and more ways in which to fight the proposals of universal healthcare.
